Single or multiple numbers of the ICX ion chamber cell(s) can be activated simultaneously via a suitably selected Aqualyse SMX-E series ionization management system. The SMX’s intelligent action/reaction ionic performance system automatically delivers variable DC power levels to the electrodes in order to maintain an adequate ionic buffer within the water distribution networks.

1. Constructed of industrial grade cut grooved schedule 40 stainless steel flow cells to meet all commercial and industrial building plumbing and fire safety codes.

2. Unlike PVC or CPVC, the Aqualyse ICX stainless steel chamber cells are unaffected by high temperatures and pressures associated to liquid or steam water distribution networks.

3. Industrial grade quick connects electrical sockets provide easy connections linking the chamber cells to the SMX system management computer. All electrical interfaces with the internal sacrificial electrodes are encapsulated in a safety-approved casing.    

4. Quick install/release Victaulic unions provide easy access for maintenance inspections.

5. The internal electrodes ‘Cross section’ configuration allow large surface contact area between the water and the electrodes for high efficiency water ionization.

6. Unique internal laminar flow hydrodynamics eliminate internal water turbulence to minimize sedimentation and electrode scaling due to obstructions and water eddies.

7. Third party certified high quality copper and silver alloys or pure copper and pure silver ionic metals ionization that can be independently controlled and monitored by using the Aqualyse SMX proprietary engineered protocols and processes in order to manage and maintain safe ionic values within domestic hot and cold potable water systems.
